"International Volunteers & Persons with Disabilities Week "
International Volunteers Day, 5th December is an international observance mandated by the UN General Assembly in 1985. Subsequent, in 1992 UN has promoted International Day of Persons with Disabilities 3rd December.
Therefore, Lovely Disabled Home (LDH) has decided to set the first week of December as “International Volunteers & Persons with Disabilities Week” to promote and advocate public awareness and increase the collaborations level among volunteers and persons with disabilities (PwD).
The organizing committee will have a series of activities in this week on our social media page to increase the awareness level from community. Our activities throughout the weeks are:
30/11/2020 (Monday) – Launching of our events
01/12/2020 (Tuesday) – Post hug photo on social media to spread love
02/12/2020 (Wednesday) – PwD Awareness Day with YB Lim Yi Wei

Public can purchase socks and give it to frontliners to show our love to them. By purchasing socks at the same time can help our PwD to secure their income in this difficult time. We hope to get more response from public on this.
