The Lovely Disabled Home was founded in November 2005. Lovely Disabled Home is a Non-Profitable, non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with objective to provide a workshop and a platform for our friends with disability to work and interact.
Since year 2013, LDH started working on its big vision to build a shelter home for individuals with cerebral palsy. This plan is still on-going as it requires substantial resources, but this year we decided to kick start with setting up of Lovely Cerebral Palsy Home Daycare. It will help to ease the needs from both working parents and also to accumulate experience in the related field.
The main objective of this dinner is to raise RM300,000.00 for the operational fund of Lovely Cerebral Palsy Home Daycare in the upcoming year, after netting-off all the costs incurred for the charity dinner, another part of the fund will be kept as expansion fund for Lovely Cerebral palsy Home.
Highlight of the night is the catwalk presented by our member with cerebral palsy. This programme is organized along with the partnership of a team of voluntary professional stylist and make-up artist. Apart from creating public awareness about disability, we would like to escalate self-image of Persons with Cerebral Palsy on stage, and most importantly to promote public participation in empowering PwD particularly the Cerebral Palsy population at social activities.
