Run For a Chance Charity Run 2018

In conjunction of World Cerebral Palsy Day, Lovely Disabled Home will be organizing the second successive charity run – “为爱而行，Run for a Chance 2018” on the 6th October 2018 (Saturday) at Citta Mall, Ara Damansara.

The objective of the Run is to raise the fund for the organization operation cost for 2019. Aside, the Home also hope the Run will further promote and raise awareness of the LDH socks among the public. The theme of the run is “CHANCE”, which carry a meaningful implication to provide an opportunity for the disabled community to be part of the public and act as a social inclusion as part of their daily life. This year, we are delighted to have Ms Mei Sim as the Run Ambassador, a Malaysian singer and Melody FM DJ who is passionate in marathon, to be present to grace this event.

Since its formation as a non-profit organization, Lovely Disabled Home has continuously offer job opportunity to disabled members, in particular to Cerebral Palsy individuals. In 2015, the Home has created its own socks branding in the effort to create a sustainable source of working opportunity for the members of the Home.
